Published: March 16, 2012
Updated program offerings and an extensive list of performers highlight Young Audiences’ revamped website, aimed at making arts learning easier than ever.
More than 50 performers – storytellers, musicians, dancers and artists – are right at your fingertips, with colorful photos and descriptions all categorized by grade level and subject matter.
The interactive site lets you choose the program or performance that’s right for you, from engaging stories of Louisiana culture to ballet and tap and musical performances that connect to current curriculum.
Renowned Louisiana musicians like Charmaine Neville and Topsy Champan are on the Young Audiences roster along with dancers, poets and writers, even puppet shows that put a twist on classic fairytales.
Whatever your needs, Young Audiences has the tools and expertise to bring the magic of the arts to all ages.
Early learning initiatives are also available, with performances and workshops formulated especially for Pre-K students.
