Exploring La Nouvelle Orleans Field Trip
In addition to being a field trip destination in and of itself, the PRC can also lead your class on a guided field trip of different neighborhoods, including visits to the French Quarter, Holy Cross in the Lower 9th, and the ReUse District, or design a custom trip for your class.
These trips can stand by themselves or be added onto either Architecture 101 or The Neighborhoods of New Orleans.

About Preservation Resource Center
Located in the historic Warehouse District of New Orleans, the Preservation Resource Center (PRC) has been preserving, restoring, and revitalizing New Orleans’ historic architecture and neighborhoods since 1974. Since our founding, the PRC has grown into the leading voice protecting our city’s rich heritage.
Heritage Education programs began at the PRC in 2002 and has since given thousands of local students a greater appreciation of their city, neighborhoods, and houses. Drawing upon a wide range of resources, we now offer a diverse range of programming and field trips for grades K-12 that can accommodate the needs of any school or teacher.
The Heritage Education program is an initiative of the Preservation Resource Center’s Education & Outreach Department.
