Chris EspinosaXYZ

Chris EspinosaXYZ is a Kennedy Center Teaching Artist, a Certified Arts Integration Teaching Specialist with Mississippi Whole Schools, and a Nationally Credentialed Teaching Artist with Young Audiences.

Although his art form is silly, over-the-top melodrama, BUT....(melodramatic pause)...he’s very serious about being the best arts integrated teaching artist he can be! That’s why he’s participated in over 300 hours of professional training in topics such as Social and Emotional Learning, Universal Design for Learning, Culturally Responsive Arts Training, and Arts Education for Multilingual Learners.

On the stage, he has over 30 melodramatic years of experience as an actor, writer, director, and producer. In the classroom, he has presented 170 arts-integrated residencies (2,900+ classroom hours) at elementary and middle schools throughout Texas, Arkansas, and Mississippi. He’s currently developing a website of strategies to guide teachers through new and melodramatic ways of integrating the arts into their lessons.
