  • Norman Mayer Library 3001 Gentilly Boulevard New Orleans, LA, 70122 United States (map)

A musical adventure based on the book, "The Rainbow Fish," by Marcus Pfister. Through creative storytelling, children will have an arts experience which will include movement and song.

Artform: Music

Teaching Artist: Joel Wilson

Overview: Children will be greeted by a hello song and a movement warm-up. Then we will sing many interactive songs using several different instruments. Afterward, we will enter the world of the Rainbow Fish using movement and music. Finally, we will conclude with a goodbye song.

This is part of a series with the New Orleans Public Library. Join Louisiana Wolf Trap and New Orleans Public Libraries for interactive arts education workshops, using the performing arts to explore the deep sea. While all children are welcome, this workshop is ideal for children infant to four years old.
