YALA Art Live 2026 -Fall edition
Join Young Audiences of Louisiana for YALA Art Live, a free, family-friendly celebration of creativity, community, and the incredible talent of Louisiana’s young people!
Watch creativity come to life as student artists work side-by-side with professional artists to create original works of art. These collaborative pieces will continue their journey to YALA Gras, where they will be featured in our Live Art Auction at our Winter Fundraiser YALA Gras!
Throughout the afternoon, families can enjoy hands-on art activities, face painting, balloon art, a Baby ArtsPlay!™ workshop at 2 PM, and more. Kendra Scott will pop up with 20% of the day’s proceeds benefiting YALA, and Urban South will donate a portion of every pint sold. Come hungry, too—Urban Smash will be on site!
YALA Art Live is free and open to the community, so bring the whole family and spend an afternoon creating, connecting, and celebrating the arts with us.

Super Summer - Uptown
A meaningful arts education experience that will leave you smiling.
Young Audiences of Louisiana’s Super Summer community events are interactive arts education experiences designed to promote literacy and connect with children, infant to age 8, because we believe that arts education is super. In fact, it is so super that it creates endless opportunities for child development. With arts education, the future is bright 😎
At Super Summer, we take some of our most popular workshops and merge them into one morning of fun. All activities are led by professional teaching artists who have been trained in child development and have years of experience crafting active learning experiences through the arts.
Join us for a morning including a pop-up ArtsPlay!™ workshop, a reading by local author, Alex McConduit, as well as a Visual Arts project. All children will receive a free book, a snack, and a surprise special gift.
