Join Young Audiences of Louisiana (YALA) as we hold our fourth annual YALA Art Live fundraiser at Urban South Brewery.

Watch local art students collaborate with professional New Orleans area artists. The artists will work together in teams of two in a live painting performance.

Art lovers of all ages are welcome to join the festivities, which will include the Urban Smash Food Truck, a raffle, and a Baby ArtsPlay!™ workshop demo. The free community event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 21, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Urban South Brewery, 1645 Tchoupitoulas Street. The spirited local brewery has graciously committed to donating a portion of every pint sold during the event. All paintings created at the event will be auctioned at our winter fundraiser, YALA Fa La La to support YALA's early learning and afterschool programs.

The free community event is scheduled to take place on April 22, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Urban South Brewery, 1645 Tchoupitoulas Street. The spirited local brewery has graciously committed to donating a portion of every pint sold during the event. All paintings created at the event will be auctioned at our winter fundraiser, YALA Fa La La to support YALA's early learning and afterschool programs.

Join us for the return of our holiday party!

YALA Fa La La is a winter fundraiser with a cozy house party vibe. The event is an opportunity for YALA to connect with community and celebrate the arts. Support the arts while enjoying live music, food, and beverages in your favorite cocktail attire. The event will also feature a live auction of paintings created during our YALA Art Live fundraiser. To add to the fun, every person who purchases a ticket is entered into a raffle of three gift certificates from Diamonds Direct for some bling right before the holidays!

Beyond celebrating our sixtieth Diamond anniversary, we invite you to join us in honoring Beverly Matheney for the years of service, commitment, and sparkle she has given to our organization and the New Orleans community.

PLEASE NOTE: No paper tickets will be issued for this event. Guests will be added to a registration list. The address of the YALA Fa La La will be provided upon ticket purchase. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Sponsors will be contacted regarding their benefits.

The artists will work together in teams of two in a live painting performance.

Art lovers of all ages are welcome to join the festivities, which will include a DJ and a food truck. The free community event is scheduled to take place on April 1, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Urban South Brewery, 1645 Tchoupitoulas Street. The spirited local brewery has graciously committed to donating a portion of every pint sold during the event. All paintings created at the event will be auctioned online to support YALA's afterschool and summer programs.
